I have decided to try some penny machines on this trip. What are your favorite machines, how much do you play per bet, and where are these machines? ie: which casino? Most of you know we play VP but I thought I would branch out this time and see what else is out there. Thanks!!! Helen

Registered User Posts: 2482 11/04/2009 21:08	I don't have a favorite penny machine. I play them very seldom and if I do I try to find one that I have played at larger levels before. I found a penny Texas Tea at the GS once and enjoyed it but I am mainly a VP player also.

Registered User Posts: 47 11/04/2009 22:42	GS has a couple of Reel Winner machines beside a bank of .25 Monte Carlo machines. Those are fun, as there is a "Monte Carlo" type roulette wheel on top of the machine that might be activated with any spin (no spin symbol to land on, the machine just "decides" when it will go to the spin bonus). Nearby is a bank of Quick Hit Platinum machines that are fun - in the bonus round, you select certain tiles and when you get three matching tiles, you get that number of free spins with a multiplier. Harrah's has some "Reel Money" machines that are probably my favorite penny. Three or more "reel money" symbols activate the bonus round which is an animated miniature spinning wheel that awards credits, and if you have 3 "reel money" symbols, the wheel spins 3 times, 4 reel money symbols gets you 4 spins. I haven't had 5 symbols before, but I assume you would get 5 spins. I believe all of these machines take .30 to cover all play lines. Many people bet 2 or 3 coins per pay line - I am cheap and have usually only bet one coin per pay line. Good luck, and Happy Birthday to Rick. Tommy

I always play the penny slots I usually play just 1 penny a line unless I am winning then I hit the times 2 frequently. My favorites at this time are Kitty Galore, this is a 30 line, Mermaid Gold which is I think 20 lines but you play the extra bonus thing which makes it 30 cents each time I am pretty sure and the Gem Hunter and a African/Lion one that you have I think 25 or 30 lines and for the life of me the name is gone of what slot they are. If I think of it or if someone remembers please let us know. I still love to play a real old one Cops and Donuts if I find one and Rich Girl which is only a 9 line so I play that one at 27 cents each time. Oh it is Hot Hot Penny the Gem Hunter and the African/Safari/Lion one. It has been about 6 weeks since I have gone to a casino so the names are not fresh in my head but I sure know them when I see them. Have fun! Kathy

Registered User Posts: 287 11/06/2009 19:43	I enjoy Treasures of Troy and White Orchid, especially at Resorts. They are 40 lines plus 40 cents for the bonus. I only play one coin per line and they have done really, really good for me. The new John Wayne Winning Streak at GS was good to me the last time I was there and I play 2 coins per line. Near it is one called Fire Opals and I've done well on it with 2 coins per line. Wizard of Oz, the older machines not the new ones, have always been good to me too. There are some new machines at Fitz that are multi-game machines, not sure of the name but I have won pretty good on those. The Up Up and Away Monopoly game on the first floor of the Fitz is always good for some play at 2 coins per line. Hope this helps. Have fun and win big!! Pam
